Obituary for Robert A “Bob” Miller Robert A. “Bob” Miller, 76, of McElhattan passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. Born March 13, 1941 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Floyd and Helen Packer Miller. Bob was a 1959 graduate of Lock Haven High School.

He served in the United States Army. On August 18, 1978, Bob married the former Christine Martin. Bob was employed by the Clinton County Correction Facility as a Corrections Officer until his retirement.

He was a member of the Avis American Legion, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and 40 & 8. Bob enjoyed golfing. In addition to his wife, Christine “Chris” Miller of McElhattan, he is survived a step-son, Anthony Marconi of Ohio; a sister, Paula Aungst of Lock Haven; two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great grandson.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Miller. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 12 noon at the Avis American Legion, 3115 Woodward Ave. , Avis, Pa 17721.
