Obituary for Judith “Judy” Lesser Judith Ellen Lesser, 61, of Loganton passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at her home. Born on August 31, 1956 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of Calvin and Dorothy Rogers Walker. Judy graduated from Empire Beauty School, and in her early years ran her own hair salon in Lock Haven.

Later she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate and was employed at Susque View Home as a CNA for nine years. Judy enjoyed and was talented at both crafting and painting. She also like to crochet and play various games on Social Media.

Most cherished to Judy was the time she spent with her grandchildren, whether it be attending baseball games, watching Ghost Hunters, or shopping. In addition to her mother, Dorothy Walker of Loganton, she is survived by two children: Torrie Lesser (Kristen Walker) of Jersey Shore and Heather Leigey of Lock Haven; two sisters: Paula Pursel and Rebecca Walker, both of Loganton; six grandchildren: Calvin Lesser, Owen Lesser, Devon Shaffer, Gillian Shaffer, Ethan Leigey, and Jaxon Brown; and several nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Walker.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Burial will follow at Rosecrans Cemetery, Loganton. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 until 8 P.M. Memorial contributions in Judy’s name may be made to either UPMC Susquehanna Home Care & Hospice or the American Heart Association through the funeral home.
