Kearston L. Andrus, 20, of Aaronsburg, passed away July 14, 2018 in Columbus, OH. She was born in Danville on December 21, 1997. She was a 2016 graduate of the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School.

In her junior year of high school she joined the US Army Reserve and was currently serving at the rank of PV2 in the U. S. Army Reserve Unit, Forward Support Company, 458 Engineer Battalion, Johnstown, PA. She worked diligently at earning the rank of PV2. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, fishing, hiking, listening to music, and painting.

Also spending time with her three weiner dogs, Oscar, Pixie, Daisy, and her beloved cat Annabelle. She enjoyed spending time with her god daughters Zoey and Chloe Bordan of Rebersburg. Kearston worked at the State College Dinner and most recently Meadows in Centre Hall.

Kearston is survived by her mother, Amber McCaslin Andrus (Ricky Irwin) with one sister; Nakisha Irwin, one brother Kross Irwin, two nephews, Hayden and Nolan Stahl of Centre Hall, and her grand mother Cheryl Hurd. She was preceded in death by her grand mother Mary McCaslin and grand father Steven Hurd Her father, Joshua Andrus and Tosha Strouse with two brothers, Jayce and Tanner Andrus of Lock Haven,a sister Brynnlee Cline of Lock Haven. Grandmother Laura Sementilli, grand father John and Cathy Andrus.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Vincent Sementilli and grandmother Rose Pursel. Kearston was also survived by her father Brett and Robin Butler, two sisters; Teanna Dorie of Port Matilda and Asia Butler of Lock Haven, one niece, Jaylan Stringfellow, and her grandmother Joann Butler of Avis. Funeral services for Kearston L. Andrus will be held in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LLC on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 7:00 PM.
