Obituary for Thomas “Nugget” Newman Sr. Thomas K. “Nugget” Newman, Sr., 75, of E. Church St., Lock Haven, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. He was born in Lock Haven on February 24, 1943, the son of the late Thomas K. and Betty J. Remick Newman. Nugget was married to the former Malinda V. Hockenberry, whom preceded him in death on August 25, 2017.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping and shooting his guns. Nugget resided with his daughter, Marcina and grandson, Tommy, whom he adored spending time with. He is survived by five children, Thomas K. (Denise) Newman, Jr. of Lamar, Terry (Karen) Newman of Lock Haven, Crystal L. (James) Kitchen of Avis, Buffy (Bunny) Dersham of Jersey Shore and Marcina Newman of Lock Haven; three brothers, Raymond Newman of Nebraska, Frank Newman of Florida and Joseph Newman of Mill Hall; eight grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Dakota Newman. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745.
