Obituary for JoAnn Eichenlaub JoAnn Eichenlaub, 85, of 236 Hunters Knoll Ln. , Loganton, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. JoAnn was born in Bellefonte on August 22, 1932, the daughter of the late Bruce and Faery Shearer Emerick.

She was a 1950 graduate of Hublersburg High School and obtained her degree in nursing from Lock Haven School of Nursing. On July 31, 1954 in Zion, she married Eugene F. Eichenlaub, Sr., whom preceded her in death on April 11, 2007. JoAnn was employed as a Registered Nurse in Lock Haven are for over 30 years before her retirement.

She was an avid reader. Most of all, JoAnn loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by four children, Kimberly (Raymond) Bohartz of Loganton, Bruce (Tracy) Eichenlaub of Avis, Charles (Pam) Eichenlaub of Mill Hall and Gene (Lana) Eichenlaub of West Decatur; two brothers, Kay (Marlene) and Jerry Emerick, both of Zion; thirteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren with two more expected soon.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745 with Rev. Kenneth Geisewite officiating. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or Eastville Church of the Brethren.
