Robert A. Eschbach August 01, 1950 – February 12, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Robert A. Eschbach, 68, of Charles Town, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at his residence. Born Aug.

1, 1950, in Washington, D.C., he is the son of Robert Eschbach and the late Wilda (Culp) Eschbach. Mr. Eschbach retired after 34 years with Verizon, as a lineman. He was of the Catholic faith.

Robert was a graduate of High Point High School He was a member of the VFW Memorial Post 3522, Charles Town; Jackson-Perks American Legion Post 71, Charles Town; and the American Legion Post 10, Boonsboro, Maryland, where he served on the honor guard. Mr. Eschbach served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Barbara L. (Deutsch) Eschbach, at home; daughters, Robyn Lucas and husband, Bill, of Williamsport, Maryland and Darlene Martin, of Arizona; son, Robert A. Eschbach and wife, Laura, of Crum; four grandchildren; sister, Margaret Viegas and husband, Roque, of Bowie, Maryland; and niece, Karen Eschbach.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Eschbach. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be private.
