Robert A. Goodall, 77, of Davenport, formerly of Milan, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Genesis Medical Center, East, Davenport. Services for Mr. Goodall will be 1 pm, Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, where military honors will be conducted by the Milan American Legion Post No 569. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be at a later date in the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Robert was born on April 20, 1941 in Decatur, Illinois, a son of Arthur and Florence Goodall.

He married Patricia Hart. She preceded him in death on July 9, 2016. Robert worked for the Illinois Employment Services as a Veterans Representative for 30 years.

Robert was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the Milan American Legion, served as District Commander of the American Legion Department of Illinois along with multiple other veterans’ organizations. Survivors include sons and (spouses), Robert (Jaclynn) Buchholz, Davenport, Iowa; Randy (Tami) Buchholz, Columbus, Wisconsin; stepchildren, David, Glenda, Nancy, Michael Taylor and their families; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; sister, Gretchen.
