Robert “Bob” Hamilton Jr July 16, 1936 – February 17, 2019 Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Robert “Bob” Franklin Hamilton Jr., born July 16, 1936 in Sullivan, Missouri to the late Robert Franklin and Effie Maude (Mantonya) Hamilton. He departed this life on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, Missouri with his family by his side. Bob had attained the age of eighty-two years, seven months and one day.

On June 18, 1954 Bob was united in marriage to Fannie Winingar in Pilot Knob, Missouri. To this union two children were born. Bob worked as a supervisor for McDonnell Douglas Corporation, hard work was his biggest hobby.

In his off time he loved to spend time with his family and grandkids. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brother and sisters. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Fannie Hamilton of Festus, Missouri; one daughter, Gwen Douglas of Festus, Missouri; one son, Robert Michael Hamilton and wife Carol of Overland, Missouri; two grandchildren, Brad Douglas, wife Wendi and daughter Ava of Joplin, Missouri and Rob Hamilton, wife Brandi and son Andri of Beal Air Force Base, California; along with a host of other relatives, extended family and friends who mourn Bob’s passing.

Visitation: Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at McSpadden Funeral Home Lesterville, Missouri Funeral: Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
