Robert “Bubba”‘s Obituary Mr. Robert Hampton “Bubba” Brown, 34, of Homerville, died Wednesday at his residence after a brief illness. He was born in Waycross, Georgia but had made Homerville his home for the majority of his life. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Homerville.

Bubba was a loving person with a big heart. He loved people and would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed singing, and spending time with his family and friends.

He cherished his job working in bees with his best friend Cary Kight. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Pauline Pittman, and his paternal grandparents, Rob and Mattie Lou Brown. Bubba is survived by his mother, Janice Pittman Brown of Homerville, his father, Allen Brown of Homerville, two brothers, A.J. Brown (Heather) of Waycross, Scott Brown (Charlie) of Millwood, one nephew, Sawyer Brown, two nieces, Lyndsey Brown, Lacey Brown, his maternal grandfather, William Hampton Pittman of Manor, two aunts, Serena M. “Rere” Daniels of Manor, Wanda P. Selph (Donnie) of Homerville, his best friend, Cary Kight (Erica) of Homerville and numerous other relatives.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Indian Mound Baptist Church in Millwood. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m., at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home.
