Obituary for Robert Charles Nibbe Robert Charles Nibbe, 76, of Lake City passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at his home. He was born December 10, 1941 in Lake City to Alfred and Lenora (Post) Nibbe. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1959.
On April 20, 1963 he married Shirley Atkinson and the couple raised 4 children. He worked various jobs while farming with his dad. He drove school bus for WJ Kriett in Zumbro Falls and worked at AJ Siewert Store in Oak Center.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to go hunting, particularly deer hunting. He enjoyed listening to old time music and country western. He had a life time membership in the ZF Sportsmen Club where he held different positions on the council.
Bob was a life long member of Lincoln Trinity Lutheran Church. His passion was in farming and he took pride in raising Hereford cattle. Most of all he loved his family, kids and grandkids.
They were his joy and he was always glad to see them. He also made sure his parents were well taken care of. Bob never had a bad word to say about anybody.
Bob is survived by wife Shirley; four children, Stacy Augustine of Lakeville, MN, Wade (Jennifer) of Lake City, Wes (Jessica) of Lake City, Chad (Drina) of Centennial, CO; 12 Grandchildren, Kellen and Taylor Augustine, Colton, Misty, Troy, Andrew and Wade Jr. Nibbe, Kael and Jacob Nibbe, Maya, Daeyden and Ty Nibbe; one sister, Lois (Dave) Macken of Rochester. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday June 1, 2018 at Lincoln Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Daniel Reich officiating.
Visitation will be 4pm to 7pm Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson, Lake City and one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be at the Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.
