Robert Ernest King Of Gladwin, MI and formerly of Lansing, MI passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the age of 89. Robert was born on November 9, 1928 in Jackson, MI the son of Ernest and Mary (Zenewich) King. He was raised in Jackson and attended school there.

Robert married Norma (Locke) King in 1949 and together they raised their four children in Lansing. He worked for the Board of Water and Light from 1948 till his retirement in 1985. Surviving Robert are his children, James (Lori) King, Steve (Cheryl) King, Carol (Mike) LeValley, Sue King; grandchildren, David (Kathy) King, Laura Chin, Janna (Arman) Rezaee, Michelle (Andreas) Lux-Wellenhof, Dustin Earley, Claire Earley, Cameron Earley, Dana LeValley, Andrea York; 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and brother, Don (Louise) King. He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma King; great great granddaughter, Luna Younger and his parents. A private family memorial service will be held later this summer.
