Robert’s Obituary Robert Eugene Burch, 56, currently living in Boston, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 17, 2019. He was born and raised in Panama City, the son of Russell Eugene Burch and Annie Louise Childers Burch. Robert graduated from Rutherford High School in 1980 and was a member of the varsity baseball team.

He graduated from Saint Leo’s College, where he also played on the baseball team. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1986-1990. He loved to play golf, softball and was an avid Florida Gator fan.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Burch Jr He is survived by his spouse, Brian Boutilier; four siblings, Shirley Grant (John), Dorothy Brantley (Al), Ralph Burch (Cecilia), Frances Louise Brown (Gary); two nieces, Stacy Williams, Dorothy Arone and a nephew, Tracey Burch. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial donations to Victory Baptist Church, 1905 W. 11th St., Panama City, FL 32401 in memory of Robert Burch.

Active pallbearers will be Shawn Brown, James Mayo, Ruben Mayo, Jonathan “Gator” Hall, Daniel “Stump” Hall and Clinton Williams.
