ROBERT EUGENE WILSON, age 81, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 4:32 p.m. at his home. He was born on September 30, 1937 in Fayette County to Charles E. and Pauline F. Bushatz Wilson. Robert was the owner and operator for Wilson’s Heating and Cooling for many years.

He enjoyed being a handyman and being with his family. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Nathan Wilson; brother, Marvin Wilson; and father and mother-in-law, Leonard and Dorothy Dellinger. Survivors include his wife, Carol Dellinger Wilson, whom he married on May 20, 1956; children, Cindy (Ken) Darling, Bobby “Pete” Wilson, and Becky (Rocky Carner) Wilson; grandchildren, Shelli (Dustin) Gulley, Brandi (Ricky) Darling-Collins, and Branden Souther; great-grandchildren, Zane Wilson, Brett Darling, Austin Collins, Logan Collins, Charles Souther, and Landen Collins.

Also surviving are nieces, cousins, and a host of friends. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Summers Funeral Home.
