Robert’s Obituary Bennie “Robert” Hancock, 85, husband of the late Linda Mae Dishman Hancock, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Signature Health Care at Heritage Hall. Robert was born June 3, 1933 in Clinton County, KY to the late Dent and Pearl (Rigney) Hancock. Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Orville Hancock, Marvin Hancock, Hubert Hancock, Vascoe Hancock, Willie Hancock, Chester Hancock, Doshia Hancock, Myrtie Ballinger and Bonnie Hancock.

Robert was a former employee of Custom Tool and a former 22 year employee with Kraft Foods. He was a member of the Fox Creek Christian Church, the Anderson County Sportsman’s Club, the National Rifle Association, and an avid UK fan. Robert is survived by his daughter, Penney I. Read and her husband Tim of Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren, John Stephen (wife Melissa) Hawkins and Katherine L. Read, both of Lawrenceburg; a sister in law, Viola Hancock of New Castle, IN; and very special friends, Michael Martin, Tristan Drury and Teri Briemer.

Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Chaplain George Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Martin, Tristan Drury, Scott West, Kendall Jones, Kolton Jones, and John Hamilton Memorial are suggested to the American Heart Association National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave. , Dallas, TX 75231. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.
