Obituary for Robert J. Halm Robert J. Halm Saginaw, Michigan Beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away Monday, December 24, 2018. Age 55 years. The son of Janice (Krauss) Halm and the late James Halm, Rob was born August 7, 1963 in Saginaw, Michigan and lived his early years in Freeland, Michigan.

He was a graduate of Michigan Lutheran Seminary. Rob graduated from Wayne State University College of Mortuary Science in 1988 and was president of his class. He was a proud employee at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home in Clawson, Michigan for ten years until time of his illness in 1996.

Rob was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and the Masonic Lodge #77. He was very active in running, wrestling, baseball, golf, bowling, camping with his children in Michigan and best of all salmon fishing. Surviving are his mother, Janice Halm, Saginaw; three children, Justin, Joshua and Ashley Halm; three grandchildren, Alexis, Jordan and Jaden; two brothers, Gary and Sheila Halm, Saginaw; Tom and Jean Halm, Williamston; several nieces and nephews.

Rob was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel J. Halm. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. , (between Shattuck and McCarty).

Rev. Marilyn S. Robinson will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

The Masonic Lodge #77 will conduct a service 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
