Robert Lynn Lawson, age 69, of Rogersville, passed over to glory on Saturday, May 11, 2019 after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Dana and Katherine Lawson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Kathey Jearline; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Lawson; daughter Traci Looney (Lonnie); son Tom Lawson (Sherry); daughter Mindy Gosnell (Jason); 9 grandchildren; Kandise, Sadie, Sierra (Tyrone), Morgan (Trevor), Lukas, Faith (Holden), Austin, Jimmy (Cassie), Tori; 5 great-grandchildren; Lofton, Jordan, Londyn, Slater, and Sophie; his beloved best friend, Jake (dog); one surviving sister, Florence Allen of Rogersville; and several nieces and nephews. He was saved many years ago and attended Liberty Hill church. He was a retired truck driver who enjoyed traveling the states.

He also loved Nascar and rarely missed a race. He will be remembered the most for his sense of humor. He would do anything for his family, a true patriarch.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home of Rogersville. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Tom Lawson and Rev.
