Robert Michael Zavor April 29, 1947-April 25, 2018 Mishawaka-Robert Michael Zavor, 70, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Robert was born on April 29, 1947 in South Bend to Charles and Rosalie (Sheeley) Zavor. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Joyce DeGrand.

On June 10, 1972 at Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren in South Bend, he married, Rae Massey. She survives along with two children, Michael (Andi) Zavor of South Bend and Laura (Justin) Patzschke of Brownsburg, IN; two grandchildren, Abigail and Annalee; a brother, Chuck Zavor and many nieces and nephews. Robert was a Sales Rep for Southwestern Publishing Co. in Cincinnati, OH before he retired.

He was a member of the United States Coast Guard. He loved music and was a Lead singer and Bass Guitar player in a band, enjoyed mushroom hunting, golf, gardening and almost anything outdoors. Robert was a loving father and husband who always put his family above all else.

He had a wonderful sense of humor and known to be silly by his granddaughters. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 28 at 12:00 p.m., with visitation two hours prior, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Clay Church, 52866 Ironwood Rd, South Bend, IN 46635 or Habitat for Humanity, Main Office, 402 E. South Street, South Bend, IN 46601.
