Helen Meade September 13, 1935-June 3, 2018 Mishawaka-Helen Meade 82, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Wood Ridge Assisted Living in South Bend. Helen was born on September 13, 1935 in Elverson, West Virginia to Lawrence Earl and Georganne (Pickering) Lett. On March 13, 1955 in Portsmouth, OH she married, Ronald G. Meade.

He preceded her in death on November 12, 2014. She was also preceded by her parents and two sons, Andrew and David Meade. Surviving are three sons, Douglas (Joanne) Meade, Kevin (Jean) Meade and Jason (Karmin) Meade; daughter-in-law, Molly Meade10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister Roselle Green and brother, Asa Lett.

Helen was co-owner of Meade’s Mini Mart. She was a member of Four Lakes Country Club. Helen was a loving mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 7 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Burial will follow in Adamsville Cemetery, Edwardsburg, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
