Obituary of Robert Wilthew, Jr. Robert Charles “R.C.” Wilthew, Jr., 65, Marion, passed away in his home at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Robert Charles and Rose (Butler) Wilthew, Sr., on January 24, 1953. R.C. was a U.S. Navy veteran and a self-employed mechanic.

He enjoyed working on cars and had additional interests in model cars and trains. He especially loved his cats. He is survived by his life partner, Louise Jackson, Marion; sisters, Pam (Mark) Generis, Lisa Ross, Bourbonnais, Illinois, and Sharon (Gary) Longo; and niece, Victoria (Donald Burkett) Vetor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Terri Tangenthorse. In accordance with R.C.’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
