Obituary of Coral Smith Coral Nan Smith, 78, Marion, passed away at 10:22 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Brookdale Nursing in Granger, Indiana. She was born in Marion on April 24, 1940 to the late Marvin Edward and Mildred Lorraine (Weaver) Smith. Coral worked in the laundry department at Marion General Hospital for 30 years.

She was a member of Women’s Auxiliary and American Legion Post 10. She enjoyed plastic canvas, genealogy, Bingo, crafts, and traveling, of which she visited 40 of the states. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carrie Stauffer, Florida.

Also preceding her in death were her brother, Gary Smith, and her sister, Carol Ann Smith. In accordance with Coral’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave.
