Obituary of Gary Miller Gary E. Miller, 80, Marion, passed away at 11:05 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Marion. A lifelong resident of Grant County, Gary was born in Marion on April 13, 1938, to Virgil C. and Miriam J. (Stevens) Miller. He married Mary A. Listenfelt on April 13, 1958, and they shared 43 years together before she passed on October 30, 2001.

Gary retired from SCM in 1995 after 38 years of service as a supervisor. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Elks Country Club. He achieved the Top 10 Grant County Amateur Golfer for four years in a row.

Gary also liked hunting, crossword puzzles, Poker, and dogs. He is survived by his daughters, Katherine (Ronnie) Spence, Huntington, Vicki (Terence) Tuttle, Marion, and Pamela (Jerry) Spaulding, Manchester; son, Rick Miller, Bullhead, AZ; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; significant other, Sharlene Cornett, and her daughter, Jennifer Cornett, Jonesboro, and her son, Mark (Tonya) Cornett, Oregon; and his little buddy, Ayden. Also preceding him in death were his daughter-in-law, Michelle Miller, and brother, Terry “Pistol” Miller.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Gary’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN. Pastor David Parker will be officiating with burial following at Gardens of Memory.
