Obituary of George Robinson George J. Robinson, 83, Noblesville, received his eternal reward at 2:40 a.m. on November 11, 2018. He was born in Ontario, WI, on September 23, 1935, to the late Lloyd and Dorothy (Winchell) Robinson. On July 11, 1959, he married Eleanor W. Baker, and she preceded him in death on February 10, 2012.

George graduated from Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, WI, and continued his post-secondary education at Marion College (now Indiana Wesleyan University), where he received his bachelor’s degree in education. He then received his Master’s degree from St. Francis University. Before returning to Indiana, George worked for 14 years in education in Janesville, WI.

He finished his career of 40 years in the Huntington County Community Schools. George was a member of College Wesleyan Church and attended Legacy Bible Church when he moved to Noblesville. One of his favorite hobbies over the years was raising honeybees.

He had over 200 colonies to collect from. He is survived by his children, Deborah (Doug) Hall, Indianapolis, Barbara (Dan) Lahaie, Indianapolis, and Kristin (John) Slade, Wake Forest, NC; grandchildren, Anna, Jason, Jessica, Andrew, Jenna, Thomas, Jillian, and Gabriel; great-grandchildren, June, Eve, and Josephine; and sisters, Annette (John) Grover, Janesville, WI, Charlene (Robert) Sloniker, AZ, and Jeanette Fisher, AZ. In addition to his parents and his loving wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Dean, and Earl Robinson.

The family will receive visitors from 12 noon to 1 p.m. with George’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN. Pastor Don Glenn will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Havens of Hope Children’s Home, 14221 Raven Way, #205, Noblesville, IN 46060. Online condolences may be made at www. nswcares.com.
