Obituary of Beulah Richcreek Beulah Maxine Richcreek, 95, Fishers, passed away at 1:57 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2018, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born in Howard County on July 24, 1923, to the late Carl Dean and Bernice (Cunningham) Smith. Her mother died when she was one year old.

Carl then married Carma (Thompson) Smith, who helped raise Beulah from a very young age. Beulah attended grade school at Roseburg and graduated from Swayzee High School in 1941. She married her high school sweetheart, Frank Richcreek, on April 4, 1942, and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2003.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for over 50 years and a member of the choir for many years. She taught primary children and assisted in music at church. She later became a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Marion.

Beulah volunteered making quilts for children to be given to different organizations from the church. She was a member of “Best Years” singers for many years, an avid bowler, and loved to work crossword puzzles. She attended many Marion Giants basketball games for years and loved all kinds of sports.

She also did a lot of knitting for family members, and she loved her family dearly. Survivors include her children, Diane Secrest, Troy, MO, Donna Hemmick, Ligonier, Debbie (Scott) Holley, Fortville, and Doug (Holly) Richcreek, Bartlett, IL; grandchildren, Scott (Theresa) Secrest, Weldon Springs, MO, Heather Secrest, Troy, MO, Kent (Jaime) Hemmick, Walnut Creek, CA, Lauren (Joel) Rebber, McCordsville, Erin (Rich) Pentz, Fishers, Analise and Noah Richcreek, Bartlett, IL; and four great-grandchildren, Rock Secrest, Drake Secrest, Ava Rebber, and Aston Rebber. Also preceding her in death were two sons, Barry and David Richcreek, and a brother, Dale Smith, who was from Kokomo.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Beulah’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN. Reverend Roslyn Harrison will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park.
