Obituary of Michael Wallace Michael W. Wallace, 65, Matthews, passed away in his home at 7:25 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018. He was born in Muncie on April 11, 1953, to the late David E. Wallace and to Diane (Malloy) Wallace, who survives. Michael married his loving wife, Deborah “Debbie” Delk, on June 7, 1975, and she survives.

Michael was employed at Petoskey Plastics. He loved NASCAR and was also an avid IU basketball fan and Notre Dame football fan. He especially loved spending time with his family and grandkids.

Michael was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his sons, Mark Wallace, South Bend, Randy (Beth) Wallace, Marion, and Derrick (Brittney Hobbs) Wallace, Alexandria; grandchildren, Taylor, Mark, Alston, Alakai, Braiden, Kru, Kayla, Brooklyn, and Leilani; siblings, Susie (Bill) Krevda, Hartford City, Rick (Karen) Wallace, Marion, Jeanne (Jed) Vardaman, Sulphur Springs, and Stacy (Jake) Walker, Converse; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Mark Wallace, and grandparents, Carroll (Virginia) Malloy and Harrold (Ada) Wallace.

The family will receive visitors from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Michael at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 W. Kem Rd.

, Marion, IN. Father Christopher Roberts will be officiating with burial following at St. Anne’s Cemetery in New Castle. Memorial contributions may be directed to Cancer Services of Grant County, Tower Suites, 305 S. Norton Ave.
