Obituary of Brenda Miller Brenda Sue Miller, 79, Marion, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2018, at Brookdale Assisted Living with her loving family, as well as her Brookdale family, at her side. Brenda was born in Marion on August 19, 1939, to Charles and Mary Ruth (McFadden) Roesly and was the middle (4th) child of 8 siblings. She graduated from Bennett High School and married Larry L. Miller on February 6, 1960, in Jonesboro.

Brenda retired from Thomson Consumer Electronics (formerly RCA) after 44 years of service. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her love for God, family, and friends. Her home was always open for a good meal and great conversation.

She loved to read, crochet, garden, and cook. Her strong faith and love for Jesus is her legacy. She loved being Mom, Sister, Nana, Aunt, and Friend to everyone.

Brenda adored her children and grandchildren and was proud of all their accomplishments. Her gentle, giving spirit will be missed. She is survived by her son, Larry L. (Mari) Miller Jr., Warsaw; daughters, Rondell (Mark) Nelson, Marion, and Jody (Larry) Lloyd, Nineveh; sisters, MaryLou Atkinson, Marion, Nondus (Kent) Malott, Jonesboro, and Charla (Jim) Norgaard, Loudon, Tennessee; brother, George (Mac) Roesly, Marion; grandchildren, Isaiah (Michelle) Miller, Bryan, Ohio, Jordan (Emily) Nelson, Kokomo, Zac (Jordyn) Lloyd, Indianapolis, Gloria Miller, Bryan, Ohio, Daisha (Kyle) Holt, Nineveh, Adam Miller, Bryan, Ohio, Zeke (Sarah) Lloyd, Cumming, Georgia, Valoree Nelson, Greenwood, and Winston Miller, Bryan, Ohio; 6 great-grandchildren, Zoe, Hazel, Beau, Henley, Violet, and Shaniah; sisters-in-law, Connie Roesly and Glenda Miller; and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry L. Miller; father, Charles Roesly; mother, Mary Ruth Roesly; brothers, Edward Roesly and Steven Roesly; and sister, Beverly Fullerton. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, services to celebrate Brenda’s life will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary Bingham officiating. Burial will follow at Estates of Serenity (IOOF). The family of Brenda Miller wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Brookdale Assisted Living, Heart to Heart Hospice, and all family and friends.
