Obituary for Rocco Bazzano Rocco Bazzano, 89, loving husband of sixty-eight years to Barbara Bazzano, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2018, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness. Born in Meriden on August 17, 1928, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Anna (Perrucci) Bazzano. He had resided in Meriden and attended Meriden schools.

Mr. Bazzano was employed by the Meriden Fire Department, Davella Motors and Allstate Insurance, retiring from Allstate in 1995. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Bazzano was a Parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Angels, Mount Carmel Campus, where he faithfully attended every Saturday for his entire life.

Besides his wife Barbara, he is survived by three daughters, RoxAnn Vivari and her husband Robert, Barbie Bazzano and her fiancé Richard Lewandowski and Kimberly Bazzano-Kunze and her husband Richard Kunze Jr.; one son, David Bazzano and his wife Brenda; three grandchildren, Heather Sartucci-Lapointe and her husband David, Isabella Kunze and Madelynn Kunze; one great-granddaughter, Kaylee Garney; one sister-in-law, Carmella Bazzano and nieces and nephews. Close family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels, Mt. Carmel Campus, 109 Goodwill Ave.

, Meriden. Everyone is asked to gather directly at the church. There are no calling hours.

Burial with Military honors will be in State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT. The John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden is entrusted with the arrangements.
