ST. PAUL, VIRGINIA – Roger K. Salyer , 78, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Heritage Hall in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. He was born in Russell County, Virginia; son of the late Bascom and Ada Powers Salyer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Salyer; and two brothers, Thomas E. Salyer and Robert V. Salyer. He is survived by one sister, Alice Arvena Salyer of St. Paul, Virginia; three aunts; one uncle; one niece; and several nephews. Graveside Service and Interment for Roger K. Salyer will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev.

Virgil Musick officiating. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
