Roger Marion Massey, 55, husband of Della Hunt Massey, of 460 Theo Martin Road, Westminster, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at GHS Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Seneca, SC, Mr. Massey was the son of John Marion and the late Sylvia Evatt Massey. He was employed with Schneider Electric and owned and operated Smokehouse BBQ & Catering.

Mr. Massey was a member of Westminster First Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Massey is survived by his step-son: Daniel Phillips (Courtney) of Augusta, GA; step-daughter: Lindsay Phillips of Walhalla, SC; brother: Allen Massey (Robyn) of Seneca, SC; sister: Ronda Massey of Clinton, SC; one grandchild: Gracie Sanford; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westminster First Baptist Church, Attn: Building Fund, 426 West Oak Highway, Westminster, SC 29693. The family is at their respective homes.
