Ronald A. Kopcho, 76, Mutual, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at his home. He was born November 19, 1941 in Mutual, a son of the late George and Christine F. (Mizenko) Kopcho. He retired from Moore and Morford and also worked for Danser’s Auto both in Greensburg.

Ron was a life member, former Fire Chief and current President of the Mutual Volunteer Fire Department, had been active with the Unity Township Fire Bureau and was a member of the Westmoreland County Firemen’s Association. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard G., Augustine J., and Richard A. Kopcho. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann (Manchini) Kopcho; his brother, Regis W. Kopcho and his companion Annie; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, where funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday with The Rev. Daniel E. Baker, UTFB Fire Chaplain officiating. Members of the Mutual VFD and neighboring fire companies will hold a memorial service at 7 PM Friday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mutual Volunteer Fire Dept. , 214 Mutual Firehall Rd. , Greensburg, PA 15601.
