Obituary for Ronald A. Kraft Ronald A. Kraft, a longtime resident of Beacon, passed away at home on November 28, 2018. He was 71 years old. Ron was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 1, 1947 the son of the late Anthony and Dorothy Bauer Kraft.

Ron proudly served our country in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1970. On December 5, 1970 he married the former Anne Marie Verdi. Anne Marie survives at home.

Ron retired from Craig Dental in Poughkeepsie as a dental technician. Ron loved Pittsburgh sports, including the Penguin and Pirates. Above all he was an avid Steelers fan.

In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Jaycox and her husband, Dwayne; his grandchildren, Brianna and Brandon; his sister-in-law, Michele Corrado and husband, Bob; his special niece, Lisa and her companion, Anthony; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, December 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 4 p.m. followed by military honors.
