Ronald E. Hinderliter, 75, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus. Ron was born November 25, 1943 in Evansville, IN to the late Morris and Ida Mae (Carver) Hinderliter. He had worked as a truck driver for Henry Fligeltaub Company and was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard.

Ron enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and watching old western movies. Surviving Ron are his wife of 54 years, Jo Anne (Hertel) Hinderliter; a daughter, Laurie (Randy) Metzger of Chandler, IN; one grandchild, Sam Tripp and three sisters, Beverly Roach, Dorothy Willis and Sharon (Norman) Schroeder. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by four brothers, Morris, Jr., Allen, Kenneth and Michael Hinderliter.

Funeral services for Ron will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Gene Backes officiating. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
