Obituary for Ronald Eugene “Gene” Kesslar Ronald Eugene “Gene” Kesslar, 61, of Dickerson Run, passed away unexpectedly Wed. May 30, 2018. He was born June 28, 1956 in Connellsville, a son of the late Melvin Eugene and Janet Marie May Kesslar.

Gene was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the class of 1975. He was a warehouse worker for Pechin Supermarket in Dunbar. Gene like the outdoors and loved to hunt.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved listening to the musical group Rush. Gene will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving wife of 37 years, TammyA. Christman Kesslar, his son Timothy Kesslar and wife Tiffany of Falls Church, VA.

, his grandson Griffin Kesslar, his brother Joe Kesslar and wife Patti of Vanderbilt, his sisters Deb Wiltrout and husband Ron of Dickerson Run, Sue Harvey of Connellsville, and Patty Buetel and husband Brian of Akron, OH. , his mother-in-law, Olive Ruth Christman, his brothers and sisters-in-law Charles Christman and wife Wanda of Dawson and Joyce Jones and husband Jeff of Vanderbilt, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received Fri.

from 2-8 PM in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville (724-628-1430) where a Funeral Service will be held Sat. at 11:00 AM with Rev. Matthew P. Goldsberry officiating.
