RONALD KENNETH KAUFMANN Ronald (Ronnie) Kenneth Kaufmann, age 71, died in his home after a short illness. Surviving are his siblings (Carolyn, Larry (Susan), Roger, Ruth, and Karen); one brother-in-law (John); six nieces (Gina, Tanya, Sara (John), Christina, Lauren, and Danielle) and two nephews (Jesse and Scott); six grandnephews (Dustin, Zachary, Xander, Oliver, Thomas, and Zane) and six grandnieces (Miranda, Sheali, Meimi, Ameya, Dacota and Yumei); and one great-grandnephew (Noah). Uncle Ronnie was good with his grandnieces and grandnephews and was loved by his nieces and nephews.

Also surviving are two aunts and many cousins, with whom he always enjoyed visiting. Ronnie was preceded in death by his dad (Kenneth), mom (Dorothy), sister (Linda), and nephew-in-law (Kevin). His first job was helping deliver Prairie Farms dairy products.

After working a short time for Huck Manufacturing, Ronnie became a long-term employee of Greenmount Cemetery from where he retired after forty years, nine months, two days. On his off-time, Ronnie was a dependable groundskeeper for many friends and neighbors. Ronnie was a self-taught musician and enjoyed playing both piano and guitar.

He enjoyed gardening for decades, learning from his dad and paternal grandmother. If he wasn*t riding his bicycle, he was walking. Our hearts are broken to lose our brother, uncle, grand and great-granduncle.

He, and his unique chuckle, will be greatly missed. Cremation arrangements are in the care of the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home. Memorial graveside services will be held Saturday (December 15, 2018) at 11:00 a.m. in Greenmount Cemetery with Pastor Steve Disseler officiating.

There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside service. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent*s Home, 1440 N. 10th, Quincy, IL.
