Ronald L. Conover, 76, of Coatsburg, died Friday (May 11, 2018) at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. Born October 24, 1941, in Quincy, Ron was a son of Paul and Viola Daggett Conover. He married Sandra K. Viar on February 11, 1961, at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Coatsburg.

She survives. Ron was employed at Moorman Manufacturing and Midwest Pattern in Quincy. He also co-owned Area Fabricators in Coatsburg.

He was an avid trapshooter and also enjoyed archery. Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Jeffrey (Susan) Conover, Thornville, OH. and Steven (Jennifer) Conover, Paloma; three grandchildren, Christina Conover, Torie Conover, and Lindsey Hoener; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother and sister in law, Gerry and Sonya Conover; his father and mother in law, Eldon and Vivian Viar; and his niece, Michelle Viar. Ron was cremated. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (May 16, 2018) at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Coatsburg by Pastor Patricia Reep.

Burial will follow at Graymount Cemetery, Coatsburg. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9:30 until the time of services at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Coatsburg. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
