Ronald Ovington Terrell, 77, of Fishersville, passed away after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease and Inclusive Body Myositis. He entered his eternal rest on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his home. He was born on June 26, 1940 at the home of his grandparents on Dinwiddie Ave.

in Waynesboro. His parents were Dorothy M. (Campbell) and Ovington (Tony) Terrell. Who preceded him in death.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lisa; his sister, Patricia Yowell and her husband, Woody; his sons, Byron Terrell and his wife, Sonya and Adam Terrell; grandchildren, Jordan and his wife, Tanya and Noah and Jonah; great granddaughters, Callie and Teagan; two dear aunts, Barbara Shiflett, Judy Stone and her husband, Kim, who he counted as one of his “car buddies; uncle, Manuel Campbell and his wife, Maria; cousin, Andy Shiflett and his wife, Diana, who brought him great comfort in the love of God and sharing of faith in Christ’s love; a dear niece, Amber Hatfield and her husband, Reo; a nephew, Lanny Morgan and his wife, Donna. He also leaves behind too many good buddies and friends to mention through 30 years of service at General Electric/Genicom/CII. He was a charter member of the Blue Ridge Hot Rod Association, as well as a former president in the Shenandoah Valley Beekeepers Association.

He was passionate about the welfare of the bee and authority on honey production. There will be no formal visitation in keeping with his wishes, as he felt his friends and family were so kind and loving to him through his illness and let him know how much they cared. The family expresses their enormous gratitude to Legacy Hospice for their assistance and care through these last years, especially Nurse Di and to Dr. Christopher Heck for their personal dedication to make him comfortable.
