Margaret “Peggy” D. Dixon, 97, of Stuarts Draft, went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 8, 2018, at Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehab, Staunton. She was born January 9, 1921, in Oak Hill, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Dr. Harry A. Duncan and Willa Yonce Duncan. Peggy retired in 1976, with 30 years of service, as a Flight Attendant with Piedmont and US Air Airlines.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Waynesboro. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Harry A. Duncan, Jr. and her husband, Hugh Wilson Dixon. There are no immediate survivors.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Pleasant View Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2733 Springhill Road, Staunton conducted by her Pastor, The Rev. Rolo B. Castillo. In lieu of flowers, Peggy requested contributions to the Augusta Regional SPCA, P.O. Box 2014, Staunton, VA 24402, phone, 540.
