Obituary for Rosalie K. Rehm ORRVILLE — Rosalie K. Rehm, age 63, of Orrville, went to be with her Jesus on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, following a short period of declining health. Rosalie was born on August 15, 1954, in Orrville, to Carl and June (Pfaeffli) Rehm, attended Orrville High School, and spent the last two years of high school studying farm management, graduating in 1973. Rosalie had a great love for God and her church, St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the WELCA women’s group and the church choir. She was the Sunday school attendance monitor, church historian, and enjoyed helping to serve church meals for special functions. Rosalie was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Shreve Chapter, and loved her Eastern Star family.
She was an active member in 4-H, and loved the whole aspect about going to the Wayne County Fair, especially sitting in the stands and listening to all the bands. She had a passion for bus trips and traveling, including several trips to Europe. She will be remembered as a good steward of the earth and she loved all her animals, especially her cows.
She also loved the color red, and NASCAR, including Jimmie Johnson and both Dale Earnhardt’s. Last, but not least, Rosalie truly loved and enjoyed her whole family, and she always kept things nice in the family home. One of her greatest joys was to decorate their home at Christmas with six Christmas trees and many lights!
She was a demanding person, but always made sure her mother was taken care of. She also liked to work outside with her brothers when she was able. She was the keeper of the family history and genealogy and was so looking forward to her expected great niece and nephew.
