Obituary for Roy “”Pete”” Conrow Roy G. “Pete Conrow of Duenweg, Mo. , passed away the morning of June 6, 2018 at his home. Pete was born August 20, 1925 to William and Lola Conrow in Jasper County, Mo.

He Married Betty Nell Pim on July 6, 1946, she passed away in 1975, Pete then married Leona (Longstreet) Petty on January 1, 1982 she passed away April 14, 2017. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater. Pete retired from Atlas Powder Company in 1982.

Pete was active in the Duenweg community. He served on the school board, was Boy Scout Master, coached youth baseball, was instrumental in starting the Duenweg Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Duenweg Baptist Church. Pete loved gardening, woodworking, the St. Louis Cardinals and old western movies.

His biggest smile came when family, friends and especially when any of his 80 grand or great-grand kids came to visit. He is survived by his brothers Charles and Johnny, his sister, Emma Lou Poe, his children, Debbie Rhodes and her husband John, Jeanne Forbes, Dennis Conrow and his wife Kathy, Linda James and her husband Larry, Mary Sloan and her husband Steve, Ann Patrick and her husband Glen, Deana Couch, Arthur Petty and his wife Kathy, Marcia Petty, Laura Mills, Julia Fehring and her husband David, Son-in-law Roger Mullin, 80 grand and great grand kids, numerus nieces and nephews and cousins. In addition to his wives Pete was preceded in death by a brother Billy, sisters; Eula Maye Hulsey, Betty King his parents, a daughter; Alice Mullin, sons-in-law; Gary Crouch, Larry Mills, his in-laws; Ben and Edith Pim, sister-in-law; Ruth Conrow, JoAnn Conrow, Thelma Pim; brothers-in-law; David Poe, Dean King, Ben J. Pim, Claude Hulsey.

The family would like to thank Lynn, Toni, Rebecca and Debbie, special ladies who helped us care for Dad. Thanks also goes out to our church families, friends and relatives who have been supportive to Dad and all of us. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday June 15, 2018 at the Duenweg First Baptist, Duenweg, Mo.

, the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday evening at the Church. The family has requested contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Duenweg in care of the Mortuary.
