Ruby D. Mull, 96, a lifelong Rushville area, Posey Township resident, passed away February 5, 2019 in Morristown. Ruby was born July 22, 1922 in Rush County to John Davis & Hazel (Warfield) Stiers. She was a 1940 graduate of Manilla High School.

She married Hugh V. Mull on April 6, 1944 and he preceded her in death on December 30, 2009. Ruby worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” during WWII at International in Connersville. She and Hugh farmed in Posey Township their entire lives.

Ruby was a longtime member of the Arlington Christian Church, a 50+ year member of the Martha Poe Chapter of OES and also active in the “Gold Ladies” which were an Arlington based group of ladies that made weekly visits to the New Castle State Hospital. Ruby is survived by her son, Larry A. Mull of Rushville, her daughter, Linda (James A.) Reed of Camby , grandchildren, Jennifer (Douglas) Mull-Baker, Kimberly Ann Mull and Katona & Joshua Reed and 4 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, February 11, 2019 in the Arlington Christian Church with Fred Hickman and Gary Holt presiding.

Friends are welcome to visit from 2-6 PM on Sunday evening , February 10 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville. There will be an OES service at the mortuary Sunday evening at 5:30. Burial will be in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
