Sinton – Rudy B. Martinez passed away peacefully on January 18, 2019 with his loving family at his side. He was 51. Rudy was born on August 5, 1967 in Sinton, Texas to Emma (Balderas) and Martin M. Martinez, Sr. Rudy was a resident of Sinton most of his life.

He was a Pipeline Locator employed by Zachary Construction Corporation before falling ill. Rudy was a beloved husband, father, son, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death is his sister, Monica Martinez. Survivors include his wife: Jennifer Brown Martinez of Sinton, Texas; daughters: Hannah Martinez of Sinton, Texas and Sarah Reyes (Anthony) of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons: John Jacob Brown and Elijah James Brown, both of Sinton, Texas; 5 grandchildren; his parents: Martin and Emma Martinez of Bastrop, Texas; brothers: Ronnie Martinez (Marion) of Iowa and Martin M. Martinez, Jr. (Jessica) of Sinton, Texas; sister: Leticia Martinez of Bastrop, Texas; maternal grandmother: Ofelia Balderas; in-laws: Euclid and Elvina Brown of Sinton, Texas; and numerous extended family members and friends. Visitation will be begin Tuesday, January 22, 2019, 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Heavens Acres Cemetery, Sinton. Guestbook available online at www.
