Ruth A. Glaus, 92, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Chaffee Nursing Center. She was born January 14, 1927 in Dutchtown, Missouri, the daughter of Leo and Agnes Goetz. She and Norman J. Glaus were married November 17, 1948 at New Hamburg, Missouri.

He preceded her in death October 18, 2009. Ruth and Norman moved to Cape Girardeau from New Hamburg in 1972. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include one son, Norman L. (Diana) Glaus of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one grandchild, Benjamin J. (Mindy) Glaus of St. Louis; and four great-grandchildren, Nolan, Mara, Simon and Angelica Glaus. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a sister. Friends may call 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral mass will be at 11:00 am Thursday, January 31, 2019 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Rick Jones officiating. Burial will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery in New Hamburg.
