Ashley Darlene Rose Shaw, 31, of Jackson, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 8, 2019. She was born March 30, 1987 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to William Andrew White and Brenda Carol Thompson Elliott. She and Phillip Wayne Shaw Jr. were married July 7, 2014 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was a provider of healing through her career as a massage therapist at St. Francis Medical Center. She was a member of Cape First and very active in the church and its many ministries. Ashley was an inspiration to everyone she met.

She served God in all facets of her life through her role as a mother and wife. Survivors include her husband, Phillip Wayne Shaw Jr. of Jackson, Missouri; mother, Brenda Carol Elliott of Brownsville, Tennessee; father, William Andrew White of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Michael James Hooe of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Justin Ray Motes Jr. of Paducah, Kentucky and Ethan Wayne Shaw of Jackson, Missouri; two sisters, Lacey White of Cape Girardeau and Dawn Shaver of Charlotte, North Carolina; and two brothers, Casey White of Cape Girardeau and John Scarbrough of Waynesville, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Ford & Sons Mt.

Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Chad Fisher officiating.

She was particularly supportive of the Safe House for Women in Cape Girardeau, in its outreach to women and children. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Safe House for Women. Online condolences may be made at www.
