She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the age of 90. Ruth will be remembered as a devoted, caring person who always treated her family and others as her first priority.

She grew up in Indiana, later met and married her true love, Robert L. Hill. He was in the United States Air Force which afforded he and Ruth the chance to travel extensively, where they developed a great love of the Southwest. They retired to Albuquerque where they established their residence where Ruth enjoyed cooking and homemaking.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Robert L. Hill, MSgt, USAF, Retired. Ruth is survived by her devoted daughter, Rose Ann Hill-Andrassy and husband Alexander of Albuquerque; her “grandcats”, Baby, Tiger, Sweetpea and Panther; as well as other family and friends who loved and will miss her greatly. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl.

SE. The day and time are pending and will be announced. She will be interred with her late husband at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
