Ruth Mae Riley, 83, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at New Haven Care Center. Ruth was born in Washington, Missouri on October 6, 1934, a daughter of the late Rudolph & Olivia (Siedhoff) Schulze. She was the widow of John Riley.

They were united in marriage on November 24, 1956, in Washington, Missouri. John preceded her in death in April 2, 1988. She was a member of St. Paul’s Church, Berger, Missouri.

She worked as an imprint operator for Hazel Inc., of Washington. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to auctions, and playing bingo. Ruth is survived by a son, Mark Riley & wife Diane, of Villa Ridge, Missouri; a daughter, Sandy Nyhart & husband Buzz, of Twin Bridges, Montana; a son, James Riley & wife Dianna, of Winston, Oregon; a daughter, Sheila Meyer & husband Brad, of Berger, Missouri; a daughter, Janet Lowry & husband Ray, of Washington, Missouri; by three brothers, Rudy Schulze, of Washington, Missouri; Ken Schulze, of Washington, Missouri; and Jim Schulze, of Stoutsville, Missouri; a sister, Marilyn Lanwermeyer, of Washington, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Ruth Lottmann, of Washington, Missouri; by six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by a brother Joseph Schulze. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 7th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Church, Berger, Missouri, with Father John Deken officiating.

Burial will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Berger, Missouri. Memorials may be given to New Haven Senior Center or St. Paul’s Church. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
