Samuel’s Obituary Samuel McKinney, 71, died Monday, January 21, 2019 at The Waters of Scottsburg in Scottsburg, Indiana. Born July 6, 1947 in Harrodsburg he was the son of the late Ed and Gertrude Carrier McKinney. He had been a laborer for the railroad.

Survivors include three daughters: Jennifer (Ebodio)Medrano of Lexington; Kelly McKinney (Denis) House of Berea and Amanda (Danny)Wilson of Lexington; one brother: Johnny McKinney of Lexington; one sister: Betty McKinney of Paris; nine grandchildren: Ashley, Miracle, Andrew, Stephanie, Jacob, Bella, Chad, Chelsey and Daniel and four great-grandchildren: Savannah, Yazmin, Kendrick and Preston. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Ted McKenney and Joey McKinney and one sister: Bobbie McKinney. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2018 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Sam Glenn officiating.

Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. To share your memories with the family, please visit www.
