Samuel Melendez, 21 of Metuchen, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Sammy was born in New Brunswick, and lived in Perth Amboy and then in Metuchen. He was employed by Bad Intensions Tattoos, Newark as a Tattoo Artist.

He loved spending time with his family friends. Sammy leaves behind his beloved daughter Mialynn Hernandez; cherished son of Aurea “Yi Yi” E. Marengo and her husband Max Hernandez, and his father Julio M. Melendez; beloved brother of Emmanuel Melendez and Ariel M. Melendez; his ex-girlfriend, Yanelys Hernandez; adored nephew of many aunts, uncles, cousin and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10 am at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy.

Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery. Visiting is on Monday from 5 ~ 9 pm.
