Obituary for Sandra M. Amburg Dateline: Alton, IL Sandra M. Amburg, 62, died at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018 at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born January 25, 1956 in Carrollton, IL the daughter of the late, Marvin and Shirley (Baecht) Caselton Sr. Sandy attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Alton. She had worked security for Argosy in Alton, and had been a paramedic for Lifestar Ambulance, and a paramedic/volunteer firefighter for QEM Fire Department.

Surviving are one daughter, Jennifer Pritchett of Alton, two son’s Jason Klaas (Lora) of Grafton and Stephen Amburg (fiancé’ Heather Matthews) of Dow, seven grandchildren, Quinn, Samuel, Jordyn, Shelby, Trinity, Sophia and Emelia, three brothers, Marvin Caselton Jr., (Maudie) of Brighton, Mark Caselton Sr. (Karen) of Sawyerville, Merle Caselton of Alton, four sisters, Sherry Ventimiglia of East Alton, Sheila Martin of Brighton, Sarah Douglas (Joe) of Brighton and Stacy Stone (Curt) of Dow and one sister in law, Nancy Caselton of Berthoud, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael Caselton. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.

Reverend Martin Smay will officiate. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gent Funeral Home.
