Sharon E. Griffus of Chesaning, age 66, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services are not planned at this time.

Sharon E. Fowler was born in St. Johns, Michigan on November 23, 1951, the daughter of the late Elsworth N and Lena H. (Schoch) Fowler. Sharon graduated from Owosso High School in the Class of 1971. She had previously lived in the Henderson area and then moved to Chesaning after she was married.

She enjoyed knitting, sewing, beading, and other crafts, listening to The Beatles, and spending time with family and friends at the “Higgins House” cabin. Sharon loved her canine pet, Betsy. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Helen Griffus of Owosso and Rob Griffus of Chesaning; her two brothers, Charles K. (Paula) Fowler and Jacob (Paulette) Fowler, all of Chesaning; nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends.

Those who have passed before her include her parents, Elsworth and Lena Fowler; and four siblings, Delain Reha, George Thiel, Paul Fowler, and Richard Fowler.
