Our sweet, loving, caring mother received her angel wings on November 22, 2018. She was welcomed home by: twin daughters, Kylee and Kayla; husband, Clype P. Martin; father and mother, John and Allegra Ellsworth; brother, George Ellsworth; sisters Maxine Johnson and Zandra Devore; and grandson Ryan Barker. Sharon started her journey on September 4th, 1930 in Ogden Utah, the third of five siblings.

She married at the sweet, tender age of 16 and started her most important thing in her life, her family. Mom was a caretaker. Her home was never an empty nest with kids, grandkids, and great grandkids calling it home.

Sharon also was also talented and enjoyed oil painting, crocheting, knitting, sewing, calligraphy, even her doodles she made look effortless. Her homemade meals will be missed. Her gravy and homemade rolls were second to none.

Sharon had a strong faith and testimony and loved her Clearfield 3rd ward family and friends. She served many callings and loved to be of service to others over the years. One of her most joyous days was when she able to get her Temple Recommend.

Although her family is happy she is relieved of her years of struggles with dementia they will say goodbye from this life with heavy hearts. Those left behind are children: Linda Mitchell, Marlene (Brent) King, Paula (Mark) Marine, Jeff (Joan) Martin, Debbie (Jay) Williams, Tena Breski; grandchildren: Travis, Trent, Heidi, Cory, Nate, Jessica, Jesse, Kris, Jazie, Jayce, and Riley; 16 great- grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Edris Glad. A special appreciation to those who provided loving and dedicated care during her last years, Kris and Ashley Martin, Lisa and Rosemary at Adagio Hospice, and the staff at Barrington Place.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clearfield 3rd Ward, 350 N. Vine, Clearfield. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. , Ogden, UT.
