Sharon Philpott, 75, of Kansas City, MO, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018. She was born February 11, 1943, in Monette, Arkansas to the late Lafayette and Albertine (Hughes) Griggs. She was a woman of strong faith, she and her husband of 47 years George worked for the Kansas City Parks Department.

She is survived by her husband George, daughter Peggy Sue, Son Allen Raymond, sister Vicki. In addition to her parents Sharon is preceded in death bay her son Phillip Dwayne Philpott. Visitation will be Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 2 PM until time of service at 3 PM at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy & Shoal Creek) Kansas City, MO.

Interment will follow the service at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to CrossRoads Hospice or the charity of your choice. Share online condolences at TerraceParkFuneral.com.
